[Complete] NTSD 2.4 Official Tournament - 2015

After a long wait, another fresh new NTSD tournament is finally here. Me and Smouk will be the host this time.
A tournament after 2 years would hopefully be welcomed warmly and I do believe all the old players must be rusty, so it's time to start warming up! Without further ado let's begin with the basic information, rules and guidelines.

Congratulations to Little Jiraiya for winning the tournament!

R E G I S T R A T I O N :

Registrations are now closed.

Registered Users:

G U I D E L I N E S :

◆ The version used is NTSD 2.4 v2.0a (you can download it >>here<< (Dropbox link)). Everyone is requested to download and use that version only.

◆ All the battles MUST be recorded and the recorded file must be uploaded and posted here. (You can find the .lfr file inside the "recording" folder)

◆ The battle outcome will be determined by 'best of 3' matches, i.e. the player who wins 2 or more will win and proceed to the next round. Semi finals and final will be 'best of 5'.

◆ Player must use 3 different characters during the battle. i.e. different character in every round.

R U L E S :

NOTE: The rules are subject to change before the tournament begins.

◆ No spamming. Using the same move more than 3 times successively is considered spamming.

◆ No hell moves, secret or hidden characters permitted.

◆ No trapping moves (Example: Kisame's "D ↓ A" at the corner of the map.)¹

◆ Shino is banned because he is too OP.

◆ Following moves have certain conditions and/or limitations to them :

Rocklee's "D ↑ J" mode is allowed for only 20 seconds.¹
Sai's and Diedara's Bird flight mode is allowed for only 20 seconds.¹
Neji's "D ↓ A" Byakugan mode is allowed for only 20 seconds.¹
Jiraiya's "D → A, A" & "D ↑ J" are collectively allowed only 3 times.¹
Hidan's "J J" & in-circle attacks after ritual shouldn't be spammed and excessively used. Be fair.¹
Continuous Shots (Example: Itachi's "D ↑ A, A..." & Gaara's "D → A, A...") is not accounted under 3 times only rule.¹
Kisame's "D ↑ J" & Naruto's "D ↓ J" are allowed only 3 times.¹
Sasuke, Kakashi and Itachi's "A D" Sharingan move is allowed only once per match.¹
Orochimaru's & Temari's "D ↑ J" are banned as they are known to cause bugs.²

◆ For transforming Sasuke, the cursed seal chidori must have a successful hit.¹

[1] : In case of breaking of this rule, the opponent get's a free hit.

[2] : In case of breaking of this rule, the opponent wins the match.

NOTE: The prizes are also subject to change during the tournament. Play for fun, not for prizes Smile

The winner of the tournament will receive a STYLIZED username (temporary), a Champion Rank and 2000 Chakra points.
The runner up will recieve 1000 Chakra points.

You can play anyhow, Hamachi, Lf2 lobby, lf2 arena or even offline if you guys can meet up to play lol.

Wow so many rules.
Is the spamming only for in quick succession or you can only use an attack 3 times per match?

Also those time limits.. is it 20 seconds in real life? Or 20 seconds in gameplay? cause if its 15 fps then its 40 seconds, if its 8 fps it's 75 seconds.

In quick succession ofcourse lol.

Roughly 20 seconds in gameplay, ofcourse it would be tough to actually calculate but both the players do get the rough idea that it was been sometime and they can do it again..

I guess I'll give it a shot. Haven't touched an LF2 game in 2-3 years so expect you viewers to see my ass kicked.
Gotta write them rules down, because I'm sure I will forget during gameplay. Might look at the rules paper more than my screen. XD

If I understand this correctly, I assume you're asking for a testing match online? Sadly my internet is fluctuating a lot and it'll take me 2-3 days to get it fixed :/

Yeah I wanted to test in an online match. But I already got my answer I think. Just started downloading NTSD and it says 1 hour left to finish download, and it is only 50 MB

Sorry man... 7 bots alone and playing in lags are two different things, players here are really good ones.
