Shiro Hato NZC - Tribute for NTSD

The skirt and head don't look very NZC style-ish to me.

I'm not as good as you Creator, I am glad that one of the most talented spriters commented my sprite

I am not sure if my english is understandable enough to tell what problems with this sprite are but ill try.

So, first of all outlines arent done of same color. Head is black and rest purple.
You need to think more about palette. Five different colors on hair doesnt matches well with two on legs. Of course it is nothing forbidden but makes sprite looking out of style.
Sorry but skirt has horrible shading. Dont make bend out of outline if rest of sprite doesnt have big shade difference. There are a lot of jaggies too.
Isnt he too fat?

I took the skirt of Sasuke NZC so I think it looks good, I will try to improve these points that you guys put

@Fenix: Isn't NZC style a bit more 'fattie' looking??
Also, NZC only uses 2 shades for each color tone.

So, Danilopp got the shading rules right, but as you pointed out, the shading difference is 'lacking'.

@Danilopp: If you want to keep yourself faithful to NZC, then review the outlines one more time. Do a complete make-over with the skirt (minus the ribbon), torso and somewhat with the head.

I'd recommend you to study Sasuke, Sai, Suigetsu and maybe Itachi from the NZC game. Study the shading technique, the outlining and the shading differences and implant those to Shiro.

Honestly I dont know what this certain style is about. I pointed out difference between using 2 shades on legs and 5 on hair. Being fat was just a question because I suspected its matter of style. Still the main problem are jaggies, which imo are frightening

Really nice looking But yes I agree it doesn't look like a character from NZC, work on that!
