Video lag

every time i go on youtube or any video for that matter it lags. its hella annoying. does anyone no why this is happening and/or has a solution?
i use the latest mozilla firefox and i have the latest flash player

All of those people raving about Firefox being the best are lying to you. Internet Explorer is the way...

someone told me internet explorer is more prone to viruses so i use mozilla

Nah, I'm just kidding. But if you have a different browser on your computer, try it. Videos being slows on youtube could be lots of things.

Internet explorer is just bad. It's the most insecure one, the one that has the worst protection against pop-ups, and the like. It's download manager is awful. And it is never innovative. Oh, and the rendering engine is the slowest.
Try Chrome. Personally I use Opera, but otherwise I'd use Chrome. And firefox is the best one for watching streamed videos.

@kilik its not just youtube vids its pretty much any video anywhere.

Well... I suppose you could just watch your vids on IE and other stuff on Mozilla. But I guess thats too much.

yea, and mozilla for me goes super fast most of the time or lags and slows alot like it is now. it crashes from tim to time to >_>

Internet Explorer 8 is just terrible. I just tried it before just to see how it operates, and it's crap. Every time I opened up IE8, it froze on me. I would never recommend it to anyone.

I have IE 7, but I don't use it anymore, now that I have Google Chrome, which is much better.

To me, internet explorer feels "HEAVY" and laggy. Chrome's really fast, but also stuffs up on some computers most of the time. Mozilla would be in the middle. If it doesn't work that well, just try out some different browsers first, like everybody else said. But remember that all browsers have their negative and positive sides.

well i got chrome now, but i'll use firefox when its running good and when it starts to slow down or lag i'll switch to chrome for the time being.

Beleive me,i have Internet Explorer,Firefox,Opera and Chrome installed right now,they are all last versions and the best one is Firefox.Im always using it.
And about your problem,try clearing your cache and see if it works.

well it lags mostly on videos but it lags on regular browsing alot. like today i started it up and it froze
