Opera..help needed

Don't you ever insult opera again, it's awesomeness embodied. The only one that could be better is chrome, all the others fall behind.

....This has already been brought up since this happend to someone else a while back (nah don't really care since I don't expect anyone to dig through random stuff lookin for that topic)

Opera is fastest browser and pretty safe. Firefox is really safe. IE is shit. U know just cuz u think Chrome is better doesn`t mean Opera is shit. Like if u get a good car and then u get a better car, that doesnt mean the good car is shit.

Hehe, I'm just a loyal Opera user... They are the most original and I'm used to the browser. Otherwise my choice would be chrome which is really well done except for some serious limitations.

I mean I could spend an hour with a movie parody demonstrating the fact that firefox needs an extension for everything (....hmm that acutally sounds like it would make a good youtube series, any volunteers?) but I didn't and yet Opera always seems to recieve the most critism.

Opera was the first browser to have tabs, first browser to have integrated tabs, only browser to currently pass the acid 3 test (well only free public browser acutally used by anyone). Oh and they have a shiny OVAL. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE SHINY RED OVAL OF OPERA. Give Up.

I use Firefox cause i'm used to it. Opera is pretty ok same with Google Chrome.

Did not know all that. But I love tabs and how it saves my session. The best part for me though are the mouse commands.

I would prefer opera over firefox... it's really useful. wait... so is the problem fixed? Or has this topic turned into a fight for which browser is da best?

Sory Bgnin.. didn't mean to sound like a douche ahah. But I have no idea what your problem is :S. You get an error only when you go to google?

Opera works best for me, and that's all that I care about. But here are some basic comparisons that are my reasons.

Opera compared to firefox.
It opens faster.
It's supposed to be faster, but lets leave it at the fact that they compare.
It has a nicer download manager, that works perfect for me.
I like the way it manages tabs 100x better than what firefox does.
Looks sleeker.
It's not as big of a resource hog.
I hate extensions.
I like the speed dial.
It's much more innovative, and allways comes up with cool new things.
The shiny, red oval.

On the other hand, firefox opens more websites, and it is supposed to be better with streamed videos.

Opera compared to Chrome:
It opens unnoticably slower.
It is supposed to be slower, but it's insignificant.
Download manager is a lot more intuitive and I like it better.
I don't like the look of chrome at all.
It has a speed dial which is a lot better than the one chrome copied. and then safari.
I like the tab managing in Opera a lot better.
It is very limited when it comes to customizations...

Internet Explorer and Safari both suck, have zero innovation. They lag behind to keep up with the development of opera and chrome. This is also what firefox does, although they do a better job at it.

EDIT: It was fixed... you have to press the a/A button on the corner of the reply box.
As for bgnin's problem I have no idea.

BTW, Opera 10 is looking pretty cool. I like the minor icon changes. I don't know if Turbo works well or not. The tab screenshot is pretty useless, but cool enough. And it is awesome that you can now set how many speed dials you wanna have. I was waiting for that. As for the 40% more speed... I never notice, but It seems to be just as fast as chrome, so it's all good.

Well OK, it's just that i get annoyed when I see offtopic posts. OK, back with the discussion: Opera's great. It's a useful thing and better than Mozilla in my opinion.
