Because it says "blah...blah...we cant identify your application version ,re-install...and...blah...when i use battle .NET

Sorry,but yes you can't play it online, because you need to be registered.

Yeah, all Blizzard games require you to register with a Valid copy of the game in order to play online. Now a days most games do.
