I'm leaving ~ Zazz

I'm leaving the NTSD team and forum. If you want my reasons, have a look:

NTSD team related:
- I haven't worked on NTSDII since the demo release due to being waaaay too busy and getting even busier
- My grades are starting to fall, although I still completely dominate in Science, my ranks in my other subjects have gone lower, not low enough to completely depress me, but low enough to make me realise and see an effect that was caused by using too much time on NTSD
- Its kinda getting boring
- Seeing our whole team's work and effort on the game being leeched out and stolen made me feel depressed. For example, all of the spritesheets that we worked on have been ripped and are now being used on for MUGEN. To me, it seems like I wasted 2 months working on my Killerbee sheet just to get it stolen and ripped by leechers.

NTSD forum related:
- 2 admins are away, and the other 2 are lazy (me and Nave o___O) and cbb doing stuff due to the immense amounts of PMs we get (Seriously, I got 10 PMs in one day from the exact same person about a rank change, all in the span of the 8 hours I was sleeping =.=)
- There are too many custom ranks and profiles, its not even special anymore. Any random person who joined an hour ago can easily get enough credits to make a rank change in an hour due to the amount of stupid posts made by members of this forum, thus causing a very heavy load of PMs sent to us admins
- The community is retarded, way too many annoying people, its like a 1:10 ratio of good to stupid people
- Having one less forum to visit will mean less time wasted on the Internet


I've already asked Nave to remove my admin and mod powers... and I've asked him to ban my account at the end of this week... so I can still say any goodbyes and such... Also Zazz's Group is going to disband, Weed wins >_>

So yeah... I'll be gone by the end of the week. Its been a fun year at the forum and being on the team, and another fun 2 years playing NTSD when it first began in Mid-Late 2007 in Little Fighter Empire.

Well, it just felt like I wasted a lot of my time... I don't really care anymore...

The university course in medicine that I'm aiming for requires a lot of energy and commitment and a high rank in my Higher School Certificate exams. These do not come until a bit over a year later, but most of the student success stories I've heard and read involved them preparing and studying quite a bit before the exam, some of them studying for it since the middle of Year 10 (That's what year I'm currently in). Luckily, as I mentioned before, I still pwn in Science, so there is still hope for me.

I've already made my choice, I've already deleted quite a number of my games off my comp, including Starcraft, DotA, NTSDII....

So that I can spend more time holding a pen rather than a mouse.

I really cbb. Like I said, the forum is a mess right now... and it takes to much valuable time. Plus being a normal member and seeing everyone's posts will make me feel like I deserted the team...

No, quitting and being banned is the only way.

does this mean NTSD II won't be finished? or is there someone else working on it??

I am srsly sad rite now. (Not crying) But srsly u were an awesome person and will always be. Good luck with ur exams, 11th grade is hard my brother is in yr 12 and i noe how hard it is, so much studyign and stuff. Well good luck in HSC man. U were teh BEST HOKAGE EVER! I always looked up to u. U have awesome coding skills and ur spriting skills are the best eveer. I think ur the best in teh world at spriting at ur age. I srsly cant believe this. U are an awesome friend and a great person to look up to. Thsi may be the last time i am posting to u but all i can say is that u live in australia and so do i. U dont live tooo far from me so there are some chances i mite run into u without noeing it, it is possible. But one thing i just realised is that i never knew and i still dont know ur Real name? I thort it was Zazz at first but i neva evne thort of that. So what is it really.
You are an AWESOME person man. U worked on NTSD really really really well. UR sprites were exceptional. Ur leading on fire coutnry were Beyond my doign rite now. U are an AWESOME person Zazz, NTSD Forum will never forget that u helped make this game. We will never forget u.

You're the last person I want to see leaving this place, Zazz. But I do agree with you on the forum's stupidity and the university course. I myself am starting to feel the pressure even though I can still visit this place and done some DCing work (despite the fact that I don't have anything to do now), but I guess a teaching career is somewhat easier than the medical path you've chosen so I understand your choice.
