Conformism
I'm sure everyone there heard about it at least once... Is conformity a natural phenomenon in our society?.. And if yes is it so much of a problem?.. Are nonconformists just arrogant freaks?.. Or maybe they are the only sensible people?.. Please tell your opinion...

Re: Conformism
... It's all down to the individual's choice imo.
Should they conform or not, then great.
And I don't think it's as black and white as the terms 'conform'
and 'nonconform' suggest.
For example, I could merely agree with a part of someone's idea, does
this mean I'm conforming to it?
Or, I could hold a different view to someone else's statement, does
this make me a nonconformist?
So, I believe the terms are chucked around too much/used to generally.
edit: Oh yeah, great topic idea Nataniell (+).

Re: Conformism
- Spoiler:
- I refuse to refuse to conform to this topic because by not conforming, I am conforming to the group of people who refuse to conform to this topic...
Conformism can be taken to huge extremes. People get ridiculous, and trends are condemned. In the end it all really depends on personal choice. Magna pretty much said it all.
