Is he alive?...

Today we are talking about Orochimaru. I have just recently watched the 138 (The newest) episode of the Shippuuden - the fight of two brothers. Yes, Orochimaru has been defeated, yet - as most of us know 3 snakes escaped. One got burned in inextinguishable flames but the others?...

From what I can imagine - Orochimaru was a genius, a supreme intellect that could think out every single moment of the fight... I think he knew that infact
Itachi had the sealing blade and that his very existance could become invalid for an eternity. That is why he did a substitution of 3 snakes (Personally I think that his substitution technique is the very best in the series...), thus escaping the seal and making sure that if one of the substitutions got burned - the other two would grant him the ability to stay alive. Also, my guess is that he was in a very weakened state and that is why he could not do that much (only to escape using snakes)...

I am not that fond of Orochimaru's character but I do not enjoy Madara's even more. Orochimaru was a perfect main villain but when Madara came the series have become all too much grandiouse. I mean controlling everyone on the planet is too much of a power, do not you think so too?

However this is just my opinion - yours may differ. Leave your thoughts and ideas about the situation here, please.

And he's still alive - fck anime, read manga - he's alive inside Kabuto.

They have only said that Kabuto has implanted Orochimaru's organs into himself - that doesn't mean that his soul and spirit is alive in him...

Kabuto has transfered orochimaru's powers into him and he said he'll try to control those powers and become even stronger than his former master, but he's body was already 30% taken over when we last saw him so who knows what happened to him I expect him to show up soon

Oh really? One thing that I didn't understand is the moment of Orochimaru's consciousness in Kabuto... I mean how is his soul there? Anyway, return of the White Count will be interesting...

Also, I read on other forums - many people would enjoy Orochimaru replacing Jiraya. Becoming good again as he was...

Yeah, rep+ to Raz0r for such an interesting theory. He may be inside Kabuto's body but that's just some parts, like when Kisame died everyone thought he pulled a trick, I think the same with Orochimaru.

when did 3 snakes run away.o.O i only saw 1 and it died....

By the way, it died by Itachi's Ameteratsu...

o_O okay umm... in Manga u can actually see 3 snakes escaping (1 being fryed in black McDonald's >:O) and in anime there is actually shown some substitution...

Anime is BS. The animation studio can do ANYTHING with it. Trust only the manga, that says he's alive.
