Movie Help

hi i guys i cant remember the name of one movie, its story was a man and his family (daughter and wife) r being attacked in their home, well one of the robers r**e his wife, then they kill her and his little daughter and they stab him in the stomach i think,but he lives and they capture the r***r and on trial they give him alittle time in prison, bcuz he cooparates and then the man (main role) captures him and starts cutting him in pieces and then they capture him ( the man) well thats all i watched from the movie and i am asking if anyone knows the name of the movie

I guess you mean "Law Abiding Citizen" with Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx as protagonists, right ?

yeah, it's an awesome movie. that son of a bitch got what he deserved. it was fun to see him suffer.
