Should voting time be extended from 24 h to 48 h ?

As our friend deepseabyrd requested to increase the voting time from 24 hours to 48 hours because some of the users are unable to vote due to difference in time zones , should we increase the voting phase from 1 day to 2 ?
This shall however reduce the entry time by 1 day.
So , please vote if it should be extended or not.
