Well I can say it was more like an unfortunate Sotw with 3 disqualifications however it was nice to see new faces in sotw . We are expecting a lot more entries from them in future .

Precap :
Akshit - 1st Placer

Chet - Disqualified (His entry didn't have 3 Dogs )
Snow - Disqualified (His entry exceeded the deadline time )
Wiza - Disqualified ( His entry exceeded the deadline time )

First of all I apologize all those who wanted to support Snow / Chet / Wiza . However I shall abide by the rules and regulations and hence I had to disqualify the trio .
I do however request them not to stop taking part it was just the first time . Kindly try again sometime .

Akshit , congrats its your first sotw victory . You have 24 hours to PM me the next theme . Thank you all .

No not really its always clearly mentioned in every entry thread that entry closes on 'x':'x''X' time GMT + 5:30 .

then snow and wiza enter
and then theres suddenly a timelimit that they have exceeded?

Its a lame actually. No one can vote when there's only one entry. That's quite obvious that, that 'one entry' will be chosen as the winner. So, it's not that lame.

Deadlines. They entered after the deadlines. That's quite obvious too that they'll be dq because they entered after the deadlines.

I'm not much impressed with it as he's sticking to just one type of sig. He's going on making pop-out sigs and is not changing is style. That's quite getting dull.

All it need is some erasing/cutting and the right placement.

We can simply make a bg and fill it with transparency(bg of re-sized render's size). Then add the stock, add the Render. Then, the render's head will pop-out in the transparent block and we will be done.

Anyways no sotws from 14th to end of this month . Instead there shall be the mega banner making competition in weekly forum renovations . Check weekly for more details . So, this is the last sotw of the month . From may 1 next sotw begins . I wish every gfxer luck in the banner designing event .
