inDesign is similar to photoshop.Its just way easier to make posters,billboards and stuff like that with it.

It is also really good to hand draw things, but the major difference is that inDesign doesn't have a resolution, in other words it can be resized how much you like but it won't get pixilated. It's mostly used for logo's and such in major company outputs.

My photoshop stopped working so I got paint.net and Gimp. I have pretty much every adobe program since I'm doing Multimedia but I keep my desktop clean.

So its like vector, without loosing quality. Nice, u make me interesting in this stuff, after illustrator ill look whats indesign have. I have all abobe programs anyway)

Wait, I might have got that wrong. Illustrator is a vector, while inDesign is a text type which is used for layouts purposes. As N.D said, commonly used for posters, books, newspaper, flyers, magazines and other accessories. Sorry about that, I don't know how I got those two confused. The things I said above were most likely about Illustrator.
