NTSD Forum Reconstruction

Well, I talked with Storm and decided to make a poll. This forum looks not very active, because there is no any game progress and also there is nothing new for last months.
But I suggest some new changes to make a forum better and more active. Storm needs to see what you think about it.

If we make it a bright forum then we'll have to remake the banner and buttons. I'll try helping if you need. We'll use tinypic as the image hosting site since that doesn't drop time to time like Photobucket or imageshack.

I'm for a design overhaul - maybe not all to bright (like no pink, yellow or shit) but it could do with a facelift and a brightening up - it's so gloomy and kind of boring, this current design.

The portal sounds good, since it'll show up the things that are being talked about ATM. Truthfully I now find myself often too lazy to search for all the new posts. I don't go on as often and I forget what I used to read/where I posted.

It's interesting to hear that the points' shop will be reactivated, after all the fuss there was with it in the past. I wonder, how will you solve the issue of point distribution?

About the GFX changes - I vote for it. Not that I'm a GFXer, but mayhaps some others may find this interesting and motivating.

And Forum Games as a subssection is a really good idea - it won't mix with the old stuff in offtop.

I don't see any problems in Points. After reconstruction ALL USERS (NEW AND OLD) will have this bad, and they will have (example) 0/1000.
Even 1 post will be as 1 point. Any good idea for forum/ntsd = 5 points. The prize in the tournament/contest will depends from complexity. And also for GFX-Shops (but points won't be added to the creators from the "sky", the will be added from customers)

So shop will be looks like this:
Delete one warn = 300 points
Change Nickname = 500 points
Raise your rank to one above = 800 points
Make a special rank = 1000 points
(And think what we can add there else)

Also there will be some thread: Transfer Points
So the users could transfer their points with each others

Also we can make some treasury for country's. So there will be two shops: for users and for country. So only Kage can spend points on anything. Just don't know what exactly. You have to think.

How will you prevent the old problem of abusing the point system by mods and admins giving out unlimited amounts of points?

Well, admins can see all moder and admin's acts in admin-panel. So if we (or you in the special topic will tell us about it) will see some attempting to abuse, we will check it.
Plus moderators are very important persons for the forum ---> so they are very responsible.

I've been used to " portal " thing in some of the forums I have been, and it was a good idea to announce some important topics like what is stated.
And reviving the structures of the forum before is also a good idea, like the points and the shops, as some of the members are interested with it I guess. .
