How can I improve my spriting this is hard

2nd run Omu State

filling this in with my own sprite design if I can

throwing a alien yeti to a enemy I wish I can sprite

My character has a another form its called omu he transforms and has a parrot beak covering his left eye inside it is a golden eye

My spriting sucks I want it to look more like anime and be a great sprite so I can make sprite sheets
what should I do!! I want to be a expert spriter..

How can I make sprites as great as these I'm having difficulty and I want to know how I can improve!!

The only way you can improve is to keep trying. It's like learning to ride a bike. You got to hone your technique. Keep practicing. You'll get there eventually.

I don't know what method you use, but it is recommended that you sprite your character twice the size of the original, then resize it by 50%. That way, it is easier to apply details of your character and so on. It may be more time consuming, but overall production would end up better.

Ok thanks it's pretty hard but I will keep trying
