The SI forum has this, so I might as well suggest it.
You guys can put up a new member profile for the forum awards, showing an icon for people who deserve it in their profile things that show up at the left side of your post (The info found beneath the Avatar)

-Posting award
-Frequent poster award
-Community award
-Most popular award
-Member of the month award
-GFX Master award (You an make it specific if you want, like sigs and sprites)
-Anime specialist award
-Artist Master award

and so on...
