Forum users: Newbies

1. Get this in your head; newbies may seem stupid. A majority of them pretty much always gets warned, or maybe even banned if Bgnin is going for their asses. But really, a majority of them are actually new to being in a forum. MEANING that they wouldn't get the idea of rules, believe it or not.

For a forum like ours, their only purposes would be:
- Signing up to ask for the release date
- Signing up to suggest new things for the game
+ Like Characters
+ Moves
+ Etc.
- Signing for complaints
(Then, they'd either get their answers, or they'd just get rejected, like our forum :] BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT.)

Only a small amount of people would actually sign up to get comments on their works or to gain a new community.

2. Old and probably senior users would usually consider newbies as being 'noobs'. They would actually seem out of place; not being known at all, with skill or anything else. They wouldn't have those perfect avies, reputation, coloured usernames and such. And sometimes, some idiots judge them over that. But look at what happened to magnamancy

Just wait over a certain period of time. If they are actually the type of user to log in and improve their reputation by showing of their skills or knowledge, then you'll see their true colours.

I'm beyond myself in bliss somebody created a topic like this... I have the same opinion... I

remember how many troubles I had when I was a newbie myself... though I didn't break any of

the RULES but they seemed too complicated and unnatural for me at first... So we should help

new members to integrate instead of banning and warning them... My opinion is that all the

newbies should be immune to warns during their first time ( maybe 10 posts )... until then

everybody who feels like helping could explain all the rules of the forum...

Bgnin, I wasn't mod at the time and can't really post in that thread you know -.-" and being a new kage with 40/50+ pages to read is like GAH.

Although I'd say an introduction section should be a default section that any admin should know that is something they need to have all the time.

THE REASON our forum is not inactive is because no new users are permanently joining the community. new user comes, gets warned, leaves.
