does anyone know how to put vids in the signature area, so that they will be shown?

You mean like from youtube?
If so, then use (Replac < and> with [ and ]) <youtube>-insert URL here-</youtube>
I'll get the other tags (If there are any) up in a bit.
And I think the only other way is DailyMotion, so replace the "Youtube"
in the tags with "Dailymotion"
