Okay, empathy

Take finances for example. If you empathy someone who's in trouble and give them money, while being in a tight finincial situation, this makes no sense, because you know that you'd have no profit
You have to see profit even in charity and do not give to those that do not deserve it

Take beggars for example. There are 3 beggars standing on the street:

An old woman with an icon
A younger woman with a handicap child begging for surgery money
A poor musician

Who would you give to?

Answer is: ONLY the musician, if there is no musician, DONT give

Reason:

The old woman would eventually die - your couple of coins that she would use to buy her bread for another day won't save her from this misery anyway

The other woman - she's 90% possibly a drug/drinking addicted one since she has such a child who most possibly has retardation or other ridiculous shit. Your coins would not be enough for his surgery, no one's would, so no matter how it goes, his mother would continue with her misery, most probably spending your money on drugs and alcohol. Even if he gets the surgery he would be even more miserable, and you can't save him

But the musician actually has chances - not 100%, but he may climb out of it and become a man. Maybe he's not poor, just desperate for somthing expensive, even so - he deserves my coins.


So if you use empathy - you make the wrong choice
