Sigh....In Vacuum there is no sound. In environment without air there is no sound. Silence exists.
Do you even know what is sound, asking such stupidass questions?

Re: Silence. Does it exist?
sound = oscillation of pressure transmitted through solid liquid or gas.
so you can still hear the resonation of the ground or water if there is no air
(only if your ears are near or in ground / water becouse if there is no air, there is nothing to transmit them to your ears)
but your body can transmit resonation too, so technically if someone hit you in the space you can hear it.
if you are deaf you cant hear anything so it exists.
but if you are talking about making sound not perceive sound i think it not exists.
every little motion of the tiniest thing makes sounds

Re: Silence. Does it exist?
Silence is the subjective state of having the impression of not hearing anything... so AFAIK it does exist

Meh, scratch that "air" part. I meant the atoms-molecules oscillate in space.
Still there is such a state with absolute absence of sound - vacuum, as i said before.

I lol'd about how uninformed you are, xDDDDQ wrote:Even if you are in a heart attack in space without a spacesuit, there will still be sounds.

I concluded he's some idiot and happy about figuring out a false fact which we knew about years ago already and then trying to spread that false information in a retarted forum like this

Re: Silence. Does it exist?
Make a better topic about how the word nothing doesn't make sense and easily contradicts itself now that would be a way better topic~

Yea, let's make a topic on what caused the first cause...
And let's get all philosphical there.
