NTSD Guide
Lol, I couldn't find a place to put this. I'll just put it here.
Okay here's what I've got so far. When I'm finished, I'll ask the mods to post a section for this.
And I'll post my own section for now, while it's being made. You guys can spread this out on other forums cos I put a link in the guide (but don't yet since it's not finished). REMEMBER, not finished.
Ps. Members, suggestions to the guide would be great.
Ntsd Guide by j0nt0bi
This is the NTSD guide for all the new starters out there.
If you’ve been guessing, NTSD actually means, “Naruto The Setting Dawn”. This lf2 mod was created by zxcv11791 and his crew, who help him out in making the mod.
The mod isn’t finished yet, so it gets updated every time until it has reached the final update, where it is finished and completed.
Here are all the things about NTSD that you might wanna know:
How to get NTSD
If you haven’t downloaded the game yet, visit https://ntsd.forumotion.com/index.htm and go to the ‘Download’ section at the top of the forums.
It will then show the link to the current version of NTSD. Click, then choose one of the links to download NTSD.
When you have downloaded the game, go to the winrar file (you will need an extracting program to open it) of the game and open it.
Then, extract it to a folder/or anything desktop. The game then is now playable.
Opening the file
Double-click on the file to open it. It will then come up with the starting menu.
Starting menu
Game start- Click on this to start loading the game.
Network game- Click on this to either wait for another opponent online to verse you, or click on “Connect to opponent” to connect to another player online.
Control Settings- Click on this to choose the control settings of each player who are gonna play on the computer. You may even change it from keyboard to joystick or controller.
Main NTSD Menu
The Menu is the Menu for the game after you load it.
- Vs. Mode – This mode allows you to fight other players on you computer or online. You may also choose to fight bots/AI if you want. Vs. mode also gives you the benefit of getting to use the cheat buttons. (See cheat buttons at page )
- Stage Mode – Stage mode, when finished, allows you to get the “pass/code” to unlock the characters that you have fought throughout the game. You too can fight bosses; try to kill them as fast as you can Also, on the way there, certain opportunities will come up for you to get codes for other secret characters that you DIDN’T fight in the game. Visit the NTSD forums for more details on how to unlock the secret characters when you have found out how to get them.
- 1 on 1 tournament – Same as Vs. Mode, but you get to fight another player/bot on an organized tournament system. You move up the list when you have defeated your enemy. After you have beaten all of them, you get to the finals and then prove if you are the champion!
- 2 on 2 tournament – Same as 1 on 1 tournament, but with a teammate.
- Battle mode – This is a mode that allows you to play in a Vs. type of mode, but the stage characters will be available for you to use; as teammates or as enemies.
- Demo – This mode allows you to watch demo videos of NTSD.
- Quit – Exits you from the game.
Hamachi-
This is a program which can be used to connect servers with another computer. With this program, you fight other NTSD players from all over the world, join rooms to chat, etc.
To download hamachi, visit this site:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hamachi/?2114
And then download. (:
When you have downloaded Hamachi, double-click on the hamachi setup shortcut.
It will then send you through a brief tutorial.
After installing double-click on the icon.

-Joining a room.
-Status and configuration
Winrar
-Download winrar so that you will be able to read the NTSD.rar file and extract it.
Link to download: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
and then choose one of the download links to the different WinRar software.
-When it has been installed, you will then have the ability to read the NTSD.rar file.
-Go into the rar file, then highlight the NTSD folder.
-Then, click on the "Extract to" button and choose a folder/place to extract the folder to.
-After extracting, find the extracted folder and open it, and you will find the NTSD game.
Enjoy!
