I think this is f-in awesome. Like all that sci-fi hi tech stuff from futuristic films like minority report etc finally coming true.

I also find it slightly frightening. But also... amazing, breathtaking, thrilling.
What will happen next is hard to say. Maybe I am oversimplifying things, but we'll just have to react to the new reality created by the existence of new technology, adapt and cope with it. Like we've always done. I bet that in the 19th century many people also felt frustrated with the advent of new technologies due to the industrial revolution and subsequent scientific and social revolutions.

Concerning laziness... well, the laws of the universe are such that they minimalize all energy usage. Nature is lazy, it gets rid of redundant traits. Anything useless dies and stops existing if it cant adapt to a new enviornment. People were always lazy, inventing things stems from the fact that people are lazy and want to make their lives easier. However, obesity is another problem alltogether. But thats a topic for a completely different discussion.

because getting a bionic eye implant is totally not scary in itself..

you would like, have to plug some kind of charger in it every time and if something is wrong with it you would have to get it out of your eye socket. or it gets a lot more dirty than your regular eye and you would have to buy a cleaner product for it and wash it every time. other thing is that it would have to be connected to your brain via cables which could also cause constant headaches or whatever and you would have to open your head every time to check them. and there is a chance that your body wont accept it and it starts to hurt like f*ck around your eye and in your brain and would get all swollen and crap and you might even die.

if bionic parts would become common i would kill science with martial arts

Don't you think that by the time bionic implants become widespread we'll have bypassed most of the difficulties you just named? Anyways, I doubt bionic parts, as of the nearest future, will be common enough for them to be considered mainstream, so that most people should have one.
