NTSD on windows 8

Hey Guys I love your work first played ntsd a while back n it was awesome but i recently downloaded a version that wont work on my pc so i tried to download ntsd II but its still not working its giving me like a million error notifications then it loads the first menu when i click to play the game it starts to load but then it gives me more of these error boxes and then nothing.
i'm not sure if it was because i'm using windows 8 or what but it's really confusing and all i want to bloody do is play the damn game because my ultimate ninja storm generations disk is scratched beyond repair and i cbf getting a new one.
so in shorti have two problems that need fixing, i'd either like to know how to fix whatever causes ntsd to crash and burn.
or a solution to something saying i need to correct my side by side configuration.
any help, please?

I have a win8. Experienced similiar problems when trying to play ntsd 2.4 i.e. got a milion errors and couldn't activate it. NTSD 2 though works fine, though it crashes sometimes during gameplay.

As far as I know it's more related to some things with Windows8.

yeah ntsd 2.4 doesn't work in my win8 either (not even 2.0a).. but II works well..

Can someone tell me how to play NTSD 2.4 on windows 8 plz?

I downloaded the NTSD 2.4 in my Windows 8 Latptop and since it wouldn't work, my brother asked the file from me so that he could try if it worked in his Windows XP Comp. It worked wit his comp.. This is really a problem related to windows 8. As for NTSD 2 CHRISTMAS RELEASE. It worked fine but I seem to be unable to finish stage one. It's like there is some kind of wall or column that each time i run to it i go up but walking to it results into nothing... anyway please do fix the problem

the stage mode is not completely coded so you can't go past one phase, wait for it patiently, and about the windows 8, you can check out
