i have a problem i just got my new computer (windows vista home premium) and i can´t get a net connection it won´t let me if someone is a comp specialist the please help me

If the internet doesn't connect how are you using it right now hmmm ? 
joking did you plug in the wire correctly did you turn on the connect from network and internet connections

i´m on my old computer well it´s family comp but i tried connecting like a hundred times but nothing

no but i van do my own network but that doesn´t work either
