Clans, wtf are they?

Seriously, when's the last time you actually cared what clan you're in? Right now they have no benefits. There's so many and there's no point. You get no befits, and can't even pick your own. A random mod can just put you in one. Look at this stupid Towel clan sh*t on my profile. Wtf does that even mean?

Maybe now that the forum is being looked over for new mods and the point system is being brought in, we should do something about this.

I've considered a few new additions to the clan system to make them more...meaningful. However everything I came up with only resulted in a bigger mess.

I have been thinking about making sanctioned village clans though. This means that clans like Uchiha or Hyuuga would be given their own little sub-forum below fire. I considered every village being allowed to have two official clans, while the rest are deemed lesser clans and thus less significant.

You could just use Z's old NTSDClans site, Clans all have a sub-forum.

Nah. I don't want to use an external forum. It's too bothersome, both for me and the users. I'll come up with a few different things for the clan's though, at'least the important ones that originate from the naruto universe. I'll probably find a way to mix clans in with the point system and such.

Moreover an external forum is a bit too much for a clan.
sub sections are good. I hope the Kage has access to the clan sub sections so that he can sticky threads that the leader asks for.

Nope. Kages won't be able to view the clan sub-sections at all. Each clan sub-section will be ran and moderated by the respective clan leaders. Razz

I want countries to be more then just a place to talk to friends. So I want to try a few different things in order to achieve something like this.

Nation wars will likely be held, but they'll be in tournament format. An example being Fire vs Rain; 3 members chosen from each nation will be responsible for fighting for their village. The winning team will get a set amount of points given to their nation to distribute among the members, as'well as a one week occupancy of the defeated nations village.

You couldn't even if you wanted too. Razz

But yes, nations will be forced to either fight or forfeit. A war is not always something two nations agree upon a join in on willingly, sometimes it is just something they get dragged into.

Then make things a bit fair , the nation that gets challenged chooses the mod.

Say , Rain challenged Myo for war. Myo decides if they fight in Ntsd II or 2.4 .

Alliances allowed?

Really? Is that what you think? I'm actually pretty good at NTSD though, ya know.

However no. All tournaments will be held on NTSD 2.4. Using a demo for any form of official tourny is simply unacceptable.

G man is asking if during a war through NTSD 2.4 can you use any fighter or only fighters from your respective country.

Example- I am from Wind so am I only allowed to use Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, and Chiyo?

Anyway G man I doubt that. Since the wars is limited to only NTSD 2.4, who will Lightning use or even Earth use to fight with?

Pretty sure we can use any fighter that is inside tournament regulations. Meaning Pein, Tobi, Tonton, and all the secret characters are forbidden... especially God.

No , free to play as any char ofc.

However we should forget about the war things as it shall take some time . There are other important things to focus on first.

Mods/Kages being selected , countries need re building , forum renovations etc.

Country war is a distant thing so lets not start thinking much about them.
