Muramasa: The Demon Blade [Wii]
If you have a Wii, you need to get this as soon as it comes out. It's a hack n' slash game made by the peopel who did Odin Sphere. For the lesser skilled/casual players, you can flail the wiimote around to attack (and there's probably an easy mode). You can also do precise technqiues with a classic controller and hopefully a harder difficulty.
The story is rather simplistic. Some shogun is trying to get control of the country with the help of cursed swords and ends up setting free a bunch of demons. So, you can take either Kisuke (boy) or Momohime (girl) and run the the game ripping everything in sight to shreds. You can choose from 100 different katanas with truckloads of unique abilties. They also have different storylines, so you don't have to worry about repeating the same game twice.
But what really has me exciting is the graphics. If you thought zxcv made some cool looking sprites for NTSD, you'll go crazy with this. The enviornments are absolutely gorgeous, and enemies will distract you from fighting with their sheer awesome looks. Don't believe me? Well, just look below.

You know this topic is over a month old, right? Bah, gonna have to warn you.
Re: Muramasa: The Demon Blade [Wii]
even though its a month old i still wanna post its very interesting for one, the ability to have 100's of swords sounds interesting, the graphics fit well on the wii as it doesn't have the capibilities as the ps3. the story already sounds pretty bad but i might be wrong. i loved odin sphere for my ps2 though, i hope it doesn't have some of the major flaws the made odin sphere not perfect

Don't remember much of Odin sphere, so what were those flaws again?

Re: Muramasa: The Demon Blade [Wii]
Releases in Japan this April. Here's a better quality vid than the one I posted. The fight with the Oni at the end is absolutely amazing.
