i dont know rank, because the teachers dont tell you, but i do know that i'm 3rd best in my gifted class (5th in my grade) at math, because of the math contest, although sometimes im better and sometimes worse, overall i'd say about top 10 in my gifted class (i wouldnt know sht about the rest of my grade) all because of my damned oral and visual communication marks. My average is 92% btw.

1st. Dunno my average and dont care. In my old school in grade 3 in another country, i was the 5th, because there was alot of smart kids there. Ever since i moved I've been the 1st in my class because frankly the kids here just aren't very smart. That is not to say they're dumb, but that they're average, and at most above average.

Ah math contests....I was dragged into a math contest which i absolutely did not want to enter by my teacher. My friends kept telling me not to join and i had no intentiopn of joining, but when i was forced to do the test i just guessed all of it and doodled for 45 minutes and got 1st place =.=......

Yeah and also he might have wanted to be better so he probably studied so much for that particular topic or he cheated. I hate cheaters. Especially the dude that sits next to me in class. We have set seats in maths (My fav subject coz im da best at it) and the dude next to me always tries to copy me and cheat off me coz my class all know how good i am in studying. And that dude distracts me like hell. BTW yay we all improve in english thanks to the forum.

lol ive always been 4-6th in my class ^^
except for this year ( my worse year ever ) my grade kinda dropped a lot so that good at school anymore =.=''
but im still the best in science/technology/chemistry ^^

are you serious? at my school everyone has to do the math contests... -.-

urgh cheaters. one time during a math test, this guy sitting beside me started elbowing me and asking for answers. i was like uh... "teacher may i please go to the washroom" then i practically ran to the washroom, and hid it out in there for like 10 minutes.

Wow we have a smart forum... :/ I've never cared about how good I was compared to the rest of my class. I got into a really good college and that's all that matters academically. And I am much more interested in what I learn rather that what grades I get. And grades are not a good measure of intelligence anyways. Plus intelligence is worth nothing if you are not a respectable person, which includes not being so narcissistic.This is a really immature topic, but you'll probably come to realize this on your own eventually... or not.
