Mac or windows?
Well since I am doing a bachelor in graphic design and digital media, I needed to buy a new laptop and they recommended me a mac since they work with mac themselves.
So what do you think mac or pc?
I've been a windows fan for as long as I can remember but I must admit it is alot smoother and easier to use.
Also you can put windows on mac very easily so I can switch to windows in less than a second.
What do you have?

Try Mac this time, and if you don't like it, switch it to Windows.
I'm using Windows btw.

*Sighs*
We have to run more heavy programs than those >.>
Also bachelor is:
Bachelor or Bachelor's degrees, indicating that someone has successfully completed a bachelor at a college (Professional Bachelor) or university (Academic bachelor).
When a college concerns a complete vocational training and academic training at a university where the student learns the basics of a field.

Re: Mac or windows?
My brother is professional web-designer, and when he compared Windows 7 and Mac, he choosed Mac.
Mac is for things like programming, design etc. For this Windows worse only because it's slower and Mac safer than Windows.
Btw, Adobe programs and Cinema4D/3D's max works on the Mac much better than on Windows 7.

Re: Mac or windows?
Was u ever try some other OS, except windows? U can't be a windows fan, if u was never compare it with some another system. Mac OS is in 100 times better for me, and i heard that linux is better than windows too. Windows good only for games and viruses. Try mac os, u allways can install windows if u needed.Ruku wrote:Well since I am doing a bachelor in graphic design and digital media, I needed to buy a new laptop and they recommended me a mac since they work with mac themselves.

Why? Never lags, no antiviruses/viruses and other annoying stuff, a lot faster... pretty interesting features in mac, its hard to get used first times

Mac is better at video rendering etc.
It might suit your studies better.

Re: Mac or windows?
That would be the only case where a Mac is better. If you need it -ONLY- for work, and not for whatever the hell else, you'll be good with it.
But should you want something else...
You know the drill.

Re: Mac or windows?
Definitely Mac for this kind of thing.. you don't need to compatibility of Windows for work. Good luck on your decision.
Also, to those down voting my posts, thanks for caring so much about what I say to actually take time out of your day to do such a thing. ^^

Mac is for anything that deals with graphic design and art-related work. Windows is for everyday use.
In your field, stick with a Mac.
