The countries are probably the best thing about this forum and also the only real long term motivation for staying active.

Right shot, countries and only countries makes me stay in this bored place more than week in the past. Thanks old lighting for that.

Byrd is quite right. Country councils should be less strict to newbies.
I understand that we are afraid that the newbie will find out the important information if we were to fire him, but what's the big deal? I don't think that there are naked photos or something of that kind.
Strange newbies and usual newbies will bring even a little new flow into old shabby countries. Who knows, maybe they will become a new kage, dattebayo?

I suppose that we try to act cool and mature declining the applications of not potentional new members, but let's act less snobbish and just face the reality which tells us we need some neo people.

It could be used to make this forum active again.

TL DR: Admins have to make sure that one can join a country as long as he fulfills the initial entrance requirements

If a country's council doesn't like you, they will come to a consensus and give their opinion about you. If they deny you, you won't get into a country. It's as simple as that.

As for any new measures taken for new members to make sure that they fulfill the requirements for a country by the admins, that won't happen. So long as you fulfill the requirements that a country has on your own, you have a chance to get into a country. If a country leaders wants to revamp their requirements, that person will do so of their own free will as well as discuss it with the current members of that country. They won't get changed just because one person doesn't like the current ones and they're unlikely to get changed even after the game is completed.

i dont want to question the intellectual capacities of you or some kages but even statistically speaking the chances that 1 or 2 arent capable of doing their job right are higher than the opposite
you have always been siding with them so ill just wait till someone else voices his opinion (e.g. z or cross)

look if i had had a cool avatar, a mysterious status message combined with some retarded quotations in the signature people would have accepted me
lets take g-man as example when he was in fire he had some childish avatar and everyone laughed about him
now he has damon salvatore and is kage of a country while his actual character hasnt changed
the amount of people that look behind the picture is unfortunately really low

Dude, a lot of people here are still suprised that G man became the Raikage, even himself.
I myself still look at G man as the same person as when I first saw his name on this forum.

It is what they say that makes them who they are, the profile just shows a bit of their taste or humor (right now I'm just copying Axer, or used to copy him until a while ago).

If someone insults me then it doesn't matter who they are, they insulted me and that I will react to in a negative way.

Now, what are you actually looking for in a country? (apart from how much you hate how we run a council)

I understand what your saying, but the requirements must be met before you are considered to join. Some countries will let you in just because you have met said requirements, others will further discuss whether or not you will fit in the country and if you should be added
Most countries reject new members on the forum based on the fact we know very little about them and request that they spend more time posting on the forum and getting to know it's members so we can judge how well they'll fit in the country

Even if you dislike it, this is how it works and it doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon. Either stay country-less or talk to a kage about your application
