Wolf is much more unique than Falco is. If you're gonna leave Fox and cut one of the other two, it should be Falco.
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
I like Wolf because his attacks are easy and I can totally own with smashes. BTW Kilik-sensei, you wanna brawl?
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
thats because of wolf's Bs. but i still like falco more

Falco's B is shoots longer, but still won't work VS me.
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
just because i said i like falco more than wolf doesnt mean i use him alot. i normally use marth, toon link, jigglypuff, pikachu, ike, ivysaur/charizard, lucario, ganondorf, snake, and then its falco.

Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
I stopped playing Brawl a while back. I got tired of all of the ridiculous changes Sakurai made from Melee.
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
I hope they are gonna make a 4th installment, they will probably add Megaman.
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
I hope they do, so they can just make Melee with more stuff and call it SSB4.
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
No, it's not. It's full of ridiculous changes made to kiddify the game. You want a list of them?
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
Does one of them include Sonic and graphics change along with online play?

My Anti-Brawl Rant From Another Forum wrote:The game was completely changed to cater to casual fans, which I hate. Don't get me wrong, I know that Nintendo wants to make money, and that the Wii is supposed to be family fun oriented. But that doesn't justify the myriad of changes that in a way "kiddified" Brawl compared to Melee and 64. People of all skill levels enjoy 64 and Melee. There was no reason for this change. Let's take a look at some of them, shall we?
-No hitstun so sucky people don't just get comboed without a way to get out. This makes slower characters effectively worse because you can only deal damage with single attacks, while fast people can juggle the crap out of you with ease.
-Rapid attacks just require you to hold down the button. That's stupid and you know it. You should not be able to pick up Fox and hold A to do infinite kicking. It's a difficult attack and really damaging against walls, and it should take some amount of skill to do it.
-Tripping. In some fantasy world, or an acid trip, tripping might have seemed like a good idea. In reality, it's crap. It's supposed to stop you from using any ground based techs, but it just leaves you open to randomly trip and lose a life, possibly a match. It also punishes characters who suck in the air because they have to move on the ground.
-No rankings. We don't want sucky people to feel bad that they suck, so no rankings for the good people. That is insanely stupid. If you aren't that good at the game, you probably know that already. We shouldn't leave out a grand idea because we don't want to hurt your feelings.
-Grabbing ledges backwards. Now, I don't really have a problem with this change since I've been saved by it a few times, but it was clearly made to make it easier to get back to the stage. Just citing it as an example of changes made to make the game easier.
-Floatier in the air. Let's make it easier to get back to the stage. I mean, it wasn't that hard to do in 64 or Melee, so this change was dumb. Seriously, give me one good explanation for this.
-Slower combat. Let's make it easier to keep up with combat and make decisions. This was dumb because this only becomes a problem when you're playing with someone much better than you. If you're playing with someone who is good and can play quickly, you should be of a similar skill level.
-Overpowered Items. Let's add to the wacky fun and make every single item complete rape. Items have all been made super strong to the point where you don't need to have any clue what you are doing to own with them. Beam swords have ridiculous range and power. You can walk with fire flowers. Hammers become not a threat because every other item can stop them easily. Brawl has taken out any hinting of skill with items that was in Melee because of how strong they all are, and greatly intensified the idea that they should not be allowed in tournament matches.
-Overpowered Stage Hazards. Let's add to the wacky fun and make every single hazard complete rape. In the previous two games, the hazards were fun because they varied so much. Some were weak and weren't worth dodging, some were helpful and led to cool combos with the player and stage, and some made the fighting stop so everyone could retreat. In Brawl, if you are hit, you die. End of discusison. You can't play on lots of stages seriously because you're too worried about the obstacles.
I think I've made my point. Lots of changes were made to the game simply to make it family friendly, and they shouldn't have been. Brawl was another victim of Nintendo's kiddying of their games and decision to feed people less quality because casual gamers generally have lower standards about video games. And sadly, it's not just Brawl that had this happen. Twilight Princess had anything resembling difficulty removed from it. Compared to the other games, its puzzles and boss fights are a joke. Mario Galaxy has the same "loleasy" feel to it that you didn't see in 64 or Sunshine. MKWii (I decided not to play since I heard the smae thing happened to it) makes it super easy to get turbo and has overpowered items. If an F-Zero game had come out for the Wii, I'm sure it's hardest difficulty would have played like normal on F-Zero 64. I'm really hoping that Nintendo grows out of this "let's make everything playable for everyone" phase and soon, because it's not good for business in the long run. You make lots of money at first, but you lose lots from the more diehard fans abandoning the newer games, especially when it's a game that ONLY more diehard fans buy like Zelda.

Too... much... to read... Well my brother uses Pikachu's thunder and attacks based on the timing like gravity.
Re: Which are the best 3 Wii games ever and why?
Basically, Sakurai changed a bunch of time to make the game for little kids.

No. NO. NEVER. NO ANIME CHARACTERS. Super Smash Bros is supposed to be a clash between VIDEO game characters.Blkdrgn wrote:They should try to add atleast a good anime char.
@Kilik
The thing is, Smash was built as a party game in the first place, where luck counted for a lot. The randomness of the variations of strength in the items is supposed to make the "4" people playing feel like, "Damn, he got the item, better run away," or "YES! I got the Smash Ball! Feast on my AWESOMENESS!!"
Traditional competitive fighting games have 4 buttons for punches and kickes, and they are used for combos and such. Smash was supposed to be a different kind of fighting game, not a fighting game where once you were locked in someone's combo, you knew that you would die. No, Smash is different, hence the reason items, air dodging, rolling, etc exist.
The actual gameplay was never designed for combos. Think about it. Almost every aerial hits the opponent a certain distance, with the exception of those rapid spinning attacks. All tilts and smash attacks hit the opponent away, there might be a few tilts that don't, but the majority does. And because of the Smash Formula, the more damaged you are, the further away you go, that means combos can't really exist because everytime you hit the opponent, he'll go flying at a different distance, and timing + accuracy is what is needed for fighting game combos.
Plus, rapid spammy A attacks can be shielded + rolled out of, and they were in since the beginning of Smash. Laser gun locks and chain grabs were just things they never really tested because they didn't think people would ACTUALLY spam them that much.
