HoN:
-Better Item system
--Ample, interesting and relevant clickies
--Procs are better compared to LoL (Wit's End is useless, Maldreth's
Razor is neccesary vs tanks, there is no medium ground between the two
and nothing else exists)
--Being able to bank items lets you more reasonable progressively build
items and even utilize potions / wards when your inventory is full.
--Items are more specialized in HoN which leads to less generalized "I
can do everything" builds (I'm looking at you Garen/Jax/etc)

-Better game-to-game balance
--While the automated matchmaking in HoN is about on par with LoL's there are other widely used options.
--Team selection isn't blind so you are much less likely to run into games where you lose to unlucky team composition
--Game creation forces grouped players to identify themselves so you
don't randomly run into games where you and a bunch of solos fight
against a coordinated team of 5
--This is my single biggest frustration with LoL, i lose 75% of my
games with a 3x1 KDR because of teammates who are relatively new to the
game.

LoL

-Better incentive to play games
--Runes/Masters and all that is a great progression system that encourages re-gaming

-Better/More varied stats
--I love the inclusion of AP, Spell Vamp and the like

-Better Community
--Overall HoN is a hateful, competitive place. I like it that way but many of my friends find it untenable.

Last thing, while LOL might be free, there still some stuff left to buy like heroes and maybe other stuff. I rather buy HON for 30$ and be done with it and the more competitive, the more fun it is to me. For LOL i dont want to get owned because someone got more level them me.

Also you are wrong, every HoN player even with half brain will pick hero on last 3 seconds so you cant do shit about it. In HoN like someone picked pyro > u go devourer, someone picked NH > go pesti. Simple as that

Pubstomping has a NICE place in HoN too. Also runes dont count much if you have teammates with brain and atleast a little bit of teamwork

Yep... it's more like saying "I want everything right now for my 30 bucks~!!"... opposed to working your way towards lvl 30 and full rune sets in LoL.

And Kor, you're wrong about runes... some runes may go unnoticed, like HP runes that don't do shit even if you pack a whole page of them, but there are some that will save your life countless times. Those are:

- the pack of Tier 3 Movement Speed Quintessences. They would add something like... 4-9% movement speed? That may seem not that much of a bonus, and you won't speed across the map like a living train, but when that Xin Zhao will chase after you, lusting to get in range of his charge, and won't outrun you - you will totally notice

- the pack of Tier 3 Mana Regen per level Seals and Glyphs together. If you do only Seals or only Glyphs, that won't add nothing... but together those runes give me 3 Mana Regen per level. It's like getting a free invisible Fairy charm every level. I never run out of mana on ANY hero - only on casters, where I need Tear of Goddess for infinite mana. That's... a golem buff without a golem buff~!!

- the pack of Tier 3 Cooldown Reduction Glyphs and Quintessences. Gives you about 13% cooldown reduction. That's plain awesome for non-mana champs - you buy a Spirit Visage and you have 25+13=38% CDR, while the maximum you can have is 40%. So you don't have to buy the Frozen Heart to reach the CDR cap. Again, an item without an item~!!

- a full page of Tier 3 Critical Chance runes. Gangplank and Garen approve. Full page of Crit Chance runes gives you 20% crit chance. An invisible Agility Cloak~!! You can crit for 100% after you get some items, and you rape things, since you CAN crit every hit in LoL

- the ninja rune page - with runes that add to max energy value, and speed up the energy regeneration. Makes OP ninjas even more OP.

- and of course, the Tier 3 Penetration Mark sets, whether it's Magic or Armor Penetration. Even though it says that it gives 9-10%, the real damage value improvement is about 7-8%, but that's still a fuking lot without items. Just imagine an additional 8% damage on Ezreal's ultimate or Xin Zhao's criticals... that's what people do.

Did you see me doing a triple kill with Xin? On people with full HP? They were Annie, Kassadin and some kida ranged guy, dont remember whom... most probably noobs, but Xin IS made for stomping noobs

What is the problem with that? You play All pick, pick a hero when you got 3 sec left. It had always been that way. Only noobs will rush for NH and Scout when there is still 1:30 sec left. Only reason to pick a Hero early, its when you wonna take a bring new hero since they are all popular.

No, noobs are not everywhere in HON. Go get 1500 PSR points and join game where players allow 1500 PSR+ only. If you join a clan, you can easily gain 1700 PSR to fight other clanned players at that stat.

So you say in LOL, its harder to get fed then in HON? Its the reason why most HON players hate LOL because its too newb friendly.

I have a question. In LOL, can you lose your points? All i remember when i played that game is, i leveled up when i lost. This was so weird. They reward you even if you lost.

In HON, if they see you with Low PSR points, they wont QQ. They will simply kick you out the game and you will feel like forced to join a game with low PSR point to play with other newbs or noobs. Noobs because even if a player managed to get 1700 PSR points, if he keep losing, they can easily get back to 1300 PSR points, back to play with the newbs again. In HON, you lose and win 20 points per won match or lost match.

LMAO, in LoL you receive the in-game currency every match, that's totally different from your sill level counter - the ELO decreases and increases if you lose or win, they just dont show it, hahahahaha

wich means,no,you don't loose any points,it's kinda like in RPG's,you don't loose levels there too,rite?
