People...CALM THE f*ck DOWN. Regular Influenza (Flu for morons) has killed more people in one year than the N1H1 Virus has killed EVER. So stop freaking out cause frankly all this hype and scare is pissing me off.

Who is freaking out? In my country it starts to spred now,but i dont think that there is much of a panic.Actually in scool everyone are excited,cuz you know... Flu holiday

ya dude many schools are closing just because they do not have a medicine to treat h1n1. my school never closed, damn it.

Yeah its the same here.The other scools started to close,but in ours noone says enything about a holiday.Are they waiting for us to get sick?

i already got sick with it. they don't know for sure since it costs alot of money to make sure i have it since i could have stomach flu or some other type. half of my class was gone 1 day >_>

Despite this hitting children the most and causing the most deaths to that age group, I personally think this vaccine they have been distributing around the world isn't exactly foolproof, as it's not even 50% effective and still causes side effects. I personally didn't bother get the vaccine not because of the problems it causes or because it's believed to work, but rather the fact that it will pass eventually, just like any other disease. The main reason it's killed children the most is because their immune systems are still developing and are unable to fight off certain diseases at early ages and the reason it kills young adults and other age groups is due to something like catching a cold, your immune system weakens and is more open to other diseases.
Anyway, I don't see what's the big deal about the vaccine. It doesn't even work as well as the CDC says it's supposed to, yet the death toll for children is now in the hundreds. In a few months or so, this so-called threat will be over and people can stop getting panicky about it.

Well I'm in Canada and apparently I'm suppose to go in a couple days to get it, then I'm suppose to get my Basic Flu shot in a month or so as well.

I got to thank that Virus my school closed,for couple of days,week maybe,and if there is any accident then for mouths,and why shouldn't i FREak out 2kids in my school got that shit,so im not going there.

in the next week(because this week the children of Bulgaria didnt go to school because of the virus H1N1 ) may be a national epidemic week cuz we have 200 sick in 10000 and thats a lot in my country

Ariel, its called the same way everywhere... it's not the pig flu - it's the swine flu which is basically the same.
Anyway- guys. stop getting excited over this topic, international health agencies are freaking out cause the disease actively hurts the person and able to end at death if the victim suffered from chronic disruptions or illnesses just as asthma, of course there are exceptions, but unless you have asthma and other implications..you're pretty much safe.
