Yeah, I read about it on Yahoo Tech the other night. It'll hit the day of and pretty hard too. Conficker C., sure sounds dangerous.

OMG, I don't think I'm going go on the internet on that day. It says it spreads through an internet connection, so I'm going to leave my connection off for that day. Plus getting Norton 360 just in case.

ya, i guess is true, i didn't post this in the first place because you guys might think im an idiot. but the thing is that we don't know what time zone does it starts. well i got some ideas for it:
1. pull your plug out, turn off the cpu for that day
2. save your important stuffs in a USB
3. send your stuffs to your e-mail if you don't have a USB
4. get 30 fire walls, like my friend did (pfft, so geeky)

Backing up your files will help as well. A virus can get into an email account, but that's still good to send them to your email.

ooo the actual plot for the prank is that u will all think there is a virus when there actually isn't and u'll all look like idiots.
Or if they anticipate u to follow that reasoning, so they actaully sent out viruses.

what if you already have the virus. turning off anything wont help you \
symantec were trying to remove the virus since last year november but they only stated that they could detect the virus, not remove it till now. they found a weakness just a few weeks before D-day.looks suspicious. better start backing up your files.

No ! I know this is double post but, i just readed and they said not to use USB ! IT'S WARNING that Conficker can come from Net to USB and destroyes the files there and makes it to not work. Or then it makes the files inside USB be ''virus or trojan'' and conficker virus comes back when you try to reach in USB.
