Hey people, my pc is having lotta viruses and my mcafee is unable to detect em.. please temme which is the best antivirus u guyz know..

Go to Hackforums.net, create an account, go to the HJT section and they will help you.


A tip for the future don't download and run random shit, especially when it has .exe at the end of the file name. If you go to a site and it says you need to install some java thing to continue, don't click okay.

Don't download what he just posted unless you want useless programs and more viruses. I used to use viruses, look up what Remote Administration Tool is, it was pretty fun. Stopped about a year ago.

My fav is the almighty format once the antivirus installed in the computer can't detect it. I mean, it's like once in a life time chance to completely restore the computer...

Very little information, however, is much better complement your antivirus programs that are dedicated to finding malware and spyrware.

Here I leave 2, which in my opinion are very good and they have free versions.

Microsoft Security Essentials becaues it is FREE and it will always be updated and give u no problems! I've been using it for a year now both xp and 7 and most people I know use it these days, no problems!

meh dont use norton anymore.....it gets annoying when needs to update or the full version

well, thanx guys, i installed avast and its pretty good and my problem is that the cpu usage shown is xtremely high, i read somewhere that its coz of viruses and malware!!
