The Mafia Revolutions [Day 4]
Players wait for your PMS!!! (Private messages, not post-menstrual syndrome)
One year has passed since the Mafia killed off all the citizens that were tasked with uncovering their members. After the purge, Mafia ruled the Town with an iron fist. Hope, however, is not yet lost. A mysterious individual, who goes by Neo, appeared in the Town. Neo is known for leading major rebellions against Mafia opression in other cities, and because of his special powers he had succeeded every time. Neo formed a resistance group in the town, and assembled 17 citizens to attend the summit of the Resistance. But unfortunately, the resourceful Mafia infiltrated the group, and the citizens must now again struggle to identify and terminate them. Their task is futher complicated by the arrival of Agent Smith, an elusive Mafia operative that was sent to the town to ensure that it remains under Mafia control.
Will the revolution succeed? Or will the Mafia crush them like cockroaches? It remains to be seen.

Day 4
- Special roles:
Mafia side: Agent Smith
Ability: Cloning
Has the ability to clone himself 3 times per round. If he clones himself and then dies, the death has no effect and Agent Smith (his clone) survives.
If Smith clones himself and doesn't die, the cloning has no effect. The cloning protects Smith from dying in Night or Day. When a Cloning is succesful, Smith loses all of his remaining Clonings.
Smith also has the same abilites as a Mafia Soldier (3-name PM), when checked by the Sheriff he appears as a Mafia Soldier.
Example:
Smith sends a PM at Night saying he wants to clone. Someone kills him at night, the cloning is succesful and Smith survives. If Smith is voted to be executed in the Day, he survives as well. If no one kills him in Night or he isn't voted in Day, the Cloning has no effect and is wasted, Smith only has 2 more.
When Smith survives his death, he doesn't have any more Clonings.
Citizen side: Neo
Ability: Detect, Merge
Detect works as the Sheriff's check, but it is much more powerful. When using Detect, Neo sends the host a PM with 2 names he wants to check, but beside identifying a person as a Mafia or Citizen he is also informed of his special role (except Godfather, who appears as a Citizen Bystander and Smith, who appears as a Mafia soldier). Neo can use Detect 2 times per game.
When Neo uses Merge, he merges with a Mafia member, and then selfdestructs along with him. Neo sends the host a PM specifying the player he wants to merge with. Merge only works on Mafia members, therefore if Neo tries to merge with a citizen, Merge has no effect. Neo can use Merge 3 times per game. When Merge is succesful, both Neo and the Mafia member die.
Neo can only use one ability per Night.

It's not recommended trying to point out indirectly that you belong to the Citizen side in the beginning of the Mafia game. There'll always be someone (either Mafia or some citizen, more often citizens, then will Mafia just agree with that citizen in voting phase and vote for you) who'll try to abuse your posts.

UPDATE: REGARDING DEAD PLAYERS
Since dead players (especially those who die at the beginning of the game) do little or nothing to contribute to the game, I'm making two special modes using which you are still able to participate.
Zombie mode: Axer already used this one last round, it basically means you are ressurrected as a zombie in case the number of citizens equals the number of Mafia. As a zombie, you can only accuse/vote.
Ghost mode: Ability to convey (forbidden) information even after death, but through a proxy. You can use Ghost mode by PMing me what you want to say, and I will then pass on that information to a random person, not necessarily a citizen. The player who gets the info will then do whatever he wants with it.
UPDATE: REGARDING SPECIAL ROLES
Killing special roles will have another benefit: a hint for the team that kills it.
In this case, if Neo dies, the Mafia gets a hint regarding the citizens and vice-versa: if Smith dies, the citizens get a hint regarding Mafia. The exception is if Neo uses Merge - voluntary sacrificing himself to kill a Mafia shouldn't result in punishing the citizens.
It doesn't matter who kills who, f.e. if a Vigilante kills Neo, the Mafia still gets a hint (maybe this will prevent Vigilantes to be too trigger-happy).
The hint will be posted in public, for all to see.
UPDATE: WHY SO RECKLESS?
This is more a personal note and not a rule per se. I noticed in the previous game that both Vigilantes were actually doom for the citizens, because none of the 4 bullets killed a Mafia. So this is a...well...like...appeal or something to the Vigilantes in the following games.
I really don't understand why do you need to kill in the first Night. I mean, you have absolutely no proof at all that the person you're about to shoot is a Mafia, and there is roughly 1/3 chance that you will waste one. Killing people randomly just because is not in any way helpful to the citizens, and I can say with absolute certainty that the last round wouldn't be lost if one Vigilante (I'm not saying which one) killed two citizens in the first two nights with like no motive at all.
Don't take this to your heart and QQ about it, just note that you're damaging your own team.

Killing some random guy in the first night even if you don't have any clue if that guy could be the Godather or the Doctor is... pure brutalisation and abuse of their powers.
